Daniel Ayali is a multidisciplinary musician with a diverse range of expertise.
His primary passion is composing, but he is also a music producer, guitarist,
and pianist. His body of work spans across classical music (both traditional and contemporary), music for other art forms such as theater, dance, and media, as well as popular music (both songs and instrumental), electronic music, and more. Daniel’s focus bridges both artistic and commercial music, with a wide array of influences shaping his sound. Piano and guitar are integral to his compositional process, and he plays in many of his own projects.

Born in Klil (small village in the north of Israel ) on February 1992 into a musical family, Daniel’s father, Yoav Ayali,a classically trained musician and choir conductor, placed great importance on passing down musical knowledge to his children. Daniel’s older sister went on to become a professional cellist, performing with some of Israel’s leading artists. Daniel himself developed a deep love for music at an early age. His first formal music studies were in classical guitar, and he spent several years studying classical music before majoring in the music program at his high school. During this time, he also explored jazz guitar and music theory.

Daniel lived for few years in Mitzpe Ramon, a small desert town in southern Israel, where he connected with a group of like-minded musicians who chose to focus on creating and studying music away from city life and mainstream culture. This group became the first students of Internal Compass, a unique music school founded in Mitzpe Ramon in November 2016. The first graduates of the program completed their studies in July 2019. It was during this time that Daniel discovered his deep passion for music composition, which inspired him to further pursue composing and producing music.

In 2019, Daniel enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Thanks to his previous experience, he was ableto begin his studies in the second year of the Academy’s interdisciplinary composition department. Throughout his studies, Daniel remained active invarious independent music projects, both in Israel and abroad.
